Working bee

We have converted a neglected corner of Onehunga into a tiny forest. Our zendo backs onto a council-owned car park and the area around the car park was once a forlorn wasteland. With the help of a council grant, we cleared the litter and weeds, mulched the ground, and planted over 100 hardy native plants which are thriving, creating a tiny green oasis. But the weeds thrive too! Come and help us keep this patch of Onehunga lovely.
