AZC 20th Anniversary Celebrations:
It has been twenty years since the Auckland Zen Centre first opened its doors, and we are marking our 20th Anniversary with a weekend of celebrations. Roshi Bodhin Kjolhede will be joining us in person, visiting from the United States. Zen Centre members and friends are welcome to attend the following events.
Friday 28 June (Matariki public holiday)
1-day sitting 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., (teisho and dokusan with Roshi Bodhin Kjolhede). Note: this is now fully booked. You may still ask to go on the wait list (see registration form). People who are not in the one-day sitting can go to dokusan with Roshi Kojhede during the evening rounds of zazen on Thursday 27 June.
Jukai Ceremony 5 p.m.
Jukai dinner at a restaurant
Saturday 29 June 10:30 a.m. Anniversary celebrations and shared lunch
Sunday 30 June 11:00 a.m. Richard von Sturmer's teacher sanctioning ceremony
